The “Big-Brite Baitfish” is a great baitfish pattern for all predatory species but especially excels in saltwater environments. The sparse Lite-Brite fiber (hence the fly name) has plenty of shimmer and movement in the water while keeping the fly lightweight and easy to cast. It sinks at a slower rate than the Surf Candy making this a perfect choice for shallow water fishing. It can easily be tied on a larger, heavier wire hook for chasing large predators.
